My son was lucky, he only got thrown accross the room by the blast. Someone else’s son may not be. I know there are some who scoff. I say only what does a club or sport have to gain by subjecting so many players to such a needless risk?

Thank you for your rapid report on the Rome Brescia game, sufficient for me to know what had happened to my son, and that he got treatment. Whether he inadvertently brushed the exposed wires or simply passed too close, who can say? One can be sure however that leaving exposed live wires in a dressing room where players are otherwise focused and wet is a recipe for disaster.
